In Hebrew this verse has 7 words. The 7 words have 28 letters (4x7). The subject and predicate have 14 letters (2x7) and the objects 14 letters (2x7).
The first object “the heavens” has 7 letters, and the second object “the earth” has 7 letters.
God, heavens, and earth have 14 letters (2x7)
Numeric value of these three words is 777 = 111x7. Place value is 147, or 21x7=7x7x3.
Words 3 and 4 begin with vowel letters and have 7 letters.
Words 1,2,5,6, and 7 begin with consonants and have 21 letters, and their sum is 21.
The first and last letters of each of the 7 words have a total value of 1526=218x7. Of which the numeric value is 1393=199x7, and the place value 133=19x7.
Of this place value the first, middle, and last words have 70=7x2x5 whose sum is 14.
The numeric value of 1393 is also divided thus: the first and last letters of the first and the last of the 7 words have 497=71x7, the remaining letters have 896=128x7.
Of which the first 2 letters have 42=6x7, and the last 2 letters have 91=13x7.
Of the 28 letters, 3 occur only once, their numeric values being 126=18x7.
The numeric value of the first and last letters of the first 4 words is 847=121x7, and the last three words 546=78x7.
The three final letters of the first three words have a numeric value of 441=63x7, or 9 sevens of sevens.
The only verb “created’ HAS A NUMERIC VALUE OF 203=29X7.
The first letter of “God,” and the last letter of “earth” have numeric value of 91=13x7.
The first syllable of the verse has a numeric value of 203=29x7.
The place value of first, middle, and last syllables of the verse is 84=12x7.
The Hebrew alphabet consists of 22 letters, of which exactly half or 11 are used.
Their numeric values are: 1,2,5,6: 10,30,40,90: 200, 300, 400.
Their place values are: 1,2,5,6; 10,12,13,18; 20,21,22.
Thus they consist of three classes. Places 1,2,5,6, have unit values; places 10,12,13,18, have tens; and places 20,21,and 22 have hundreds.
But 6+1 are 7=1x7
10+18 are 28=4x7
20+22 are 42=6x7
Their sum being 77=11x7.
Of the three classes the first and last have 7 numbers whose sum 1,2,5,6,20,21,22 is 77=11x7.
Dividing thus the units have 14=2x7, and the hundreds 63=9x7.
These 7 numbers are divided into 4 for the units and three for the hundreds; the units are thus divided, 1+6=7, and the middle ones 2+5=7.
The three numbers for the hundreds are also divided, the first and last 20+22=42 or 6x7, and the middle one 21=3x7.
The only other verse in the Pentateuch which has 7 words and 28 letters is Exodus 20:1 which begins the Ten Commandments.
This Law of 7 may also be recognized in Physics, Astronomy, Geology, Colour, Music, Botany, and Medicine. It links heaven and earth, and testifies to the divine inspiration of the Scriptures.
Could any one of the greatest scientists either ancient of modern, make in seven words a statement of corresponding grandeur with that of the first verse of the Bible and exhibit in its structure the same mysterious force and beauty of this mystic number?
Verse 5. The formula “the evening and the morning” of verses 5,8,13,19,23,and 31 explains Matt 12:40 and 16:21, thus Thursday evening and Friday morning were the first day, Friday evening and Saturday morning the seconds day, and Saturday evening and Sunday morning the third day, so making three days and three nights. In British laws a man sentenced to one day’s imprisonment, is released the day he is sentenced and may therefore spend only five minutes in jail.
