The 40 Promises of Salvation upon our Belief + Nothing else!!
I've encountered so many folks who by no fault of their own have tied themselves to something that allows them in their own mind to remain in good relationship with God.
Going to church, repenting, stop smoking, lose weight, give to the poor or do something they believe will please God. I'm not speaking against these things as they are all commendable. I'm just pointing out that the purpose is misdirected if they are being used to get right with God. At least according to God!
The result is that many, even the religious, never realize the amazing Position the Lord has already bestowed on them. The tragedy is they miss living their lives with the in-the-Lord confidence and the in-dwelling relationship the Lord always intended for them.
Know that God has said that He has already simplified getting in good standing with Him as he has already reconciled Himself to all mankind! All we have to do is believe that He already accomplished it to actuate the plugged-in relationship He has always wanted for you. This is what He says!
God says that the following 40+ promises are bestowed on a Believer the moment he chooses to believe in his heart what God has already accomplished for them; 1 Cor 15:1-4, II Cor 5:17-19, II Cor 5:21.
This isn't anything I have contrived. This is what God says. Therefore, if I have Faith in believing what God says about this matter, I'm good, right? RIGHT!
For it is believing what God has said that He accomplished for you that clears your conscience from living in doubt that God could ever accept you in view of your own assessment of your own condition. But, through your reasoned faith you are set free: Rom 4:3. No ritual, work or a dependence on a holy man will ever clear your conscience or establish you in God Heb 9:9
Lets get to the promises! Feel free to print this as there are many Bible verses. It is a great Bible study. Regarding the Bible’s validity please note that among other aspects it contains approximately 8,000 versus of Prophecy (telling the future). About 6,200 of these versus so far have been proven historically to have come true. Therefore, it stands to reason that the remaining Prophecies will come to pass as well. With this in mind it stands to reason what the Bible says about our God and what He says about Himself. He transcends all time and space and knows the beginning from the end. With such an overwhelming confirmation of authority there is no reason to doubt His Word. However, upon believing what God has said He will confirm the Word's validity.
God says that the following 40+ promises, listed below, do not occur because we go to church, are baptized by water or by following the 10 Commandments. They cannot be acquired through any work or virtue what-so-ever. So, how do we obtain this position of prominence in God?
According to God all the following Blessings and Promises are bestowed on an individual upon believing the Gospel….1Cor 15:1-4. With no work ... Eph 2:8. And the promises are irrevocable! Rom 11:29.
Hence; Faith + Nothing = Saved; Eternal Life with God (this is good). What is not-saved? Eternal Life without God (this is bad). Everyone will live eternally. John 5:25 Therefore, if where you will spend eternity is at stake looking into this matter is crucial.
Note that all the Scripture references are abbreviated. You'll find the references in the index of a Bible. For example: 1 Cor is 1 Corinthians. 15:1-4 is Chapter 15 verses 1-4. Feel free to read the verses before and after the reference so you get the 'flow.'
Here's what God has already done for you upon your belief of 1 Cor 15:1-4
1 Cor 15:1-4 "Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance; that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures," (Paul explains repeatedly in his letters that we will have believed in vain if we believe that we have to do something other than believe this gospel to 'achieve' eternal life with God)
Please note that believing the Gospel is not blind faith. It is Reasoned Faith because it not only was foretold in the Old Testament but there were over 500 witnesses of which some were still alive at the writing of the ICor letter. (ICor 15:5-6) Not only were they available to witness to anyone who asked but many gave their lives because they would not recant their testimony! This Gospel is verifiable. In fact, Paul encouraged investigation! Faith in the validity of this Gospel is a Reasoned Faith. It is the only Truth we will ever encounter that will have certain impact for the rest of our eternal existence!
First things First: Who is Jesus Christ - The risen Lord? Col 1:15-20, Gen 1:1, Philippians 2:6-11
One more proclamation that without question Jesus Christ was God in the flesh!!! ITim 3:16:
God appeared in the flesh
was vindicated by the Spirit,
was seen by angels,
was preached among the nations,
was believed on in the world,
was taken up in glory.
THE PROMISES

Released from the Law Rom 7:6 (But, this is not license to sin. Continuing sinful behavior diminishes your reward; not your salvation. Paul was falsely accused of teaching that continuing in sin was acceptable. If you are not accused of this on occasion you are not sharing Paul's Gospel of God's Grace. See Rom 3:8 and Acts 20:24 “the Gospel of the Grace of God”
Upon your Believing you are saved forever
Rom 8:38-39, also again Eph 1:13, 2Tim 2:11-13, 1Cor 1:8, Col 1:22, Eph 4:20, John 6:37, John 10:28

You were Raised with Christ Col 3:1
your spirit is translated into the Kingdom Phil 3:20, 2 Cor 5:17-18, Col 1:13, Eph 2:6...
Ps 91:1 "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadows of the Almighty." Dwell is Yashab in Hebrew: to sit. Ps 110:1 Acts 2:34 ICor 15:25 "The LORD (God) said unto My Lord (Christ) sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a foot stool for your feet." As much as God promised to Jesus to make His enemies His foot stool so then as our spirits reside with Christ at God's right hand you also are a partaker of this promise as you are an important part of His Body; the Body of Christ ICor 12:12-13 and as your spirit resides with Christ; Eph 2:6, Phil 3:20. Receiving this by Faith is the Armor of God. Strengthen your stand against the enemy by thanking Him for warring against those who war against you: Rom 8:28-31, Eph 6:11-12, Ps 35.

You are baptized into the Body of Christ upon belief; not a water baptism or other work. 1Cor 12:13, Acts 19:4-6. Note that Paul ceased doing water baptisms as people were putting their faith in water baptism instead of believing what Christ did for them on the Cross 1Cor 1:17-18.
You are the indwelling of God / God lives in His Temple! 1Cor 6:19, 3:16, Rom 5:5

Ye are taken out of the way and saved from the Tribulation to come...the wrath of God "the Day of the Lord." spoke of 29 times in the Old Testament. VS the Day of Christ, Phil 1:10, Phil 2:16, 2 Thess 2:2, which is the rapture of the Church. Note the Day of the Lord, the Tribulation of the book of Revelations is God's wrath upon the earth. While the Day of Christ is the gathering of the Lord's Faithful prior to the Day of the Lord of God's wrath upon the earth.
1Thess 4:15, 1Cor 15:51-58, Rom 5:9

Now that you are sealed with the Holy Spirit guaranteeing your inheritance you work for Christ for rewards. What building blocks are you using to encourage others to their highest good 1Cor 3:10-15
The only real building block Gal 5:6
Each of us can approach God with freedom and confidence
Eph 3:12, Heb 4:16, Heb 10:19
Your confidence in your Faith is rewarded greatly Heb 10:35
There is never any reason to fear Heb 13:6, Rom 8:31
There is no longer any sacrifice for sin Heb 10:18
Ceremonial washings are no longer necessary Heb 7:10
The new Believer's Baptism is not with water. Upon believing the Gospel 1Cor 15:1-4 you are baptized by the Holy Spirit into Christ. ICor12:13
If one depends on any work or legality for salvation, Christ is no value to them ... at all! Gal 5:2 (Never depend on anything but your Faith in the Gospel 1Cor 15:1-4) (Speaking in tongues, confession, repentance, church membership, water baptisms, tithing, singing in the choir, time sacrifices at church, being an encouraging person, etc are all possible reflections of salvation and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. They are NOT nor have they ever been the reasons for salvation.) There is only one reason: Rom 2:16...Paul's Gospel 1Cor 15:1-4.
Faith Plus Nothing = Right with God 2Thess 2:13, Rom 10:9-10, Rom 6:8, Col 2:12
You're not your own 1 Cor 6:20
Secrets (Deut 29:29, Isaiah 1:3, Jer 8:7) hidden for ages now revealed Col 1:24-27, Eph 3:5-9,
ICor 2:8. The Lord kept things hidden from the Prophets and Elders of old and even the Apostles (Luke 18:34). But, when He reveals them (Rom 16:25), it is your responsibility to believe Him.
Paul's authority: Eph 3:1-3 ("made know to me" ... not the twelve (Luke 18:34) until much later (2Peter 3:15-16, note: Peter writing to Jewish believers suggesting they review the letter Paul wrote to them...the book of Hebrews)
There’s much more. …
See if you can find more!
There are 280 verses in Paul's Letters with the words Believe, Faith or Trust.
Through belief and belief alone (of the Gospel 1Cor 15:1-4) all these Blessings occur with or without your understanding. Because Faith is not so much understanding how; Faith is believing that it is true and God accomplished it! See Rom 4 For it is this Gospel and only this Gospel that men's secrets will be judged. (Rom 2:16) And what is a secret if it isn't your own conscience? Therefore, by believing what God said your conscience is wiped clean. So, forgive yourself because the Lord already has Finished your salvation upon your Belief.
You are truly free as Christ intended. You are no longer bound to anything or require any 'intercessor.' Don't allow anyone or thing to bind you again. Your relationship is secure beyond your imagination! You are now able to expel fear and show others their Freedom.
Remember that there is only one thing that will count towards your reward: Gal 5:6
'For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.'
A personal note.
Pray that the Lord reveal to you the first time you believed. I thought it was later in life. However, the Lord revealed to me that I was actually saved when I was much younger. I missed many years of freedom by merely surviving my relationship with the Lord instead of freely embracing it with confidence because I thought my Salvation was dependent on me!
So many believers and yet so many in fear because they think they haven't 'done-it' right or 'enough.' Once they realize they have always been reconciled to Him and sealed in Him since the day they believed fear is replaced with confidence ... as God always intended!
Thank you, Lord!
